Great place, for sightseeing and for a walk with the dog
It took us 3 and a half hours to hike to the lake, then walk around it. After that, we went further up to see the Estate ruins. I was not aware, but the group of Romanians we met on the beginning of the hike, and took us along with their group, took us up to the swimming pool. An empty pool that offered 360 degrees view of mountain tops on the horizon. That pool made us wonder where the water to fill the pool would've came from. So we went even further to the water tower, which you could not see it from the pool area, therfore, we had to hike a little more. Oh, did I mention that you can see Manhattan from where the Estate ruins are and also saw a few eagls resting on top of the trees? Pick a clear sunny day for this trip and you will be delighted!
